Dr. Edmund Kotula - "Dr. Ned"
Growing up in a small town in New Jersey meant going to the same dental office that his family went to without many choices for change if he wanted. Dr. Ned never liked his family dentist and vowed if ever he was blessed to go into dentistry, he would focus and dedicate his mission to making a difference!
Boy has he ever!
He graduated from New Jersey Dental School and moved to Reading to pursue a resident training program at St. Joseph Medical Center and achieved his goal of owning his own office. His training allowed him to be proficient in all aspects of dentistry and his focus was still on the feelings and relationships with his new family of patients. As word of mouth grew throughout the community his office grew quickly and needed to relocate from the city. In 2001, he reopened his office at his now current suburban location and was overwhelmed by the response and welcome of an expanded family of patients. Because of the location and continued growth, Dr. Ned and staff expanded and renovated the office building to create the current footprint that Kotula Dental operates out of today.
No two days are ever the same within the walls of this dental office. There is definitely a very personable feel to Kotula Dental, and his family of patients has appreciated it. He never rests on his laurels and is constantly trying to improve the office with the help of staff and family. Dr. Ned continues to deliver great quality dental care in a clean environment that is upbeat and often fun. He feels that his patients are very important and deserve the very best because they have the ability to choose where their teeth are cared for and serviced. His hope is that patients will encourage their families and friends to grow up in the dental practice that cares and they can all feel comfortable leaving their smiles in the “gloved” hands of Kotula Dental.
