It has always been the belief of Kotula Dental that with good training and continued education most procedures could be comfortably performed all in one dental office without sending the patient out to seek care from multiple offices.  Dr. Ned explains the procedures in very clear (layman’s terms) in order for the patient to make educated decisions about the recommended work.  Dentistry doesn’t have to be difficult or bothersome if patients have an understanding of what the recommended treatment is to be and what to expect.  If everyone is just a little more relaxed and comfortable, then it can be a little less tense and a lot more enjoyable!

Here are some of the procedures that are performed routinely at Kotula Dental:

  • Quality General Dental Care to All Ages  Dr. Ned has restored teeth for about every aged patient from the youngest being 20 months and the “not-so-youngest” at 98.
  • High Quality Routine Cleanings and Comprehensive Exams  Each patient will experience our customer service and personality and realize that a very thorough exam and high-quality cleaning was performed.  An oral hygiene plan will be custom tailored to each mouth to give the patient the best plan to maintain the newly clean environment.
  • Extractions  Many teeth that can be removed with the aid of local anesthetic are removed in office.   More complicated impacted teeth or patients in need of general anesthetic are commonly referred to a quality oral surgical office.
  • CEREC CAD/CAM Computerized Crown Fabrication  If a crown (or “cap”) is needed to restore a tooth then this system is something that you have to see to believe.  In ONE visit, a tooth is prepared for a crown and is imaged on a computer and designed as the patient looks on in amazement.  The crown is fabricated by the chair side milling unit while the patient watches and after a short amount of time, the crown is bonded into place ready to be tested.
  • Denture/Partial Denture Fabrication  For those patients who have lost one or multiple or all of their teeth and are seeking to replace them with a removable option then a denture is the way to go.  Patients have been amazed by the natural look of the dentures and the commitment to helping get adjusted.

  • Emergency Care  Dental emergencies can happen at anytime often leaving the patient in a miserable state.  Dr. Ned strives to make contact with all emergency calls in a very timely manner in order to start to strive towards resolving the problem.
  • Restoring Implants that were Placed by Reputable Surgeons  For those patients who have lost one or more teeth and are seeking to replace them with an implant, then planning and coordinating with both surgeon and lab technicians is a very important step towards success and is commonly handled seamlessly.
  • Root Canal Procedures The removal of the nerve from a tooth that has either become necrotic or problematic and the proper filling of the clean canal are commonly completed in one visit.
  • Sleep Apnea/Anti-Snoring Devices   Patients who have trouble breathing at night whether from snoring or sleep apnea, have benefitted from intraoral night guards that have saved marriages and helped many patients gain the rejuvenating sleep that they had been lacking.
